Together, we have the power to improve the lives of animals in our communities and in the wild. Simple things like volunteering at a local shelter, spreading the word about conservation, supporting a favourite animal cause or walking an elderly person's dog can make a difference. Even the smallest act has an impact. Join us in our passion to help animals.

Save Steve's Place
Here at Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors, we know all about fighting to save wildlife and habitat.
The Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve, in Queensland's Cape York, is particularly close to our hearts, because it is home to a number of vulnerable species of wildlife and plants including:
- Spear-toothed Sharks;
- Estuarine Crocodiles;
- Palm Cockatoos;
- Spotted Cuscus; and
- Pitcher Plants.
Currently, the 135,000 hectare Reserve, which is home to the Wenlock River, is being threatened by a mining company wanting to strip mine for bauxite.
This Reserve is legacy to the Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin – and we need your help!
We are inviting all Wildlife Warriors to sign the petition to Save Steve's Place.

Visit the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital located next to Australia Zoo. Take a behind-the-scenes tour and witness the life saving work of the vets as they strive to save our precious wildlife. Or, hire the hospital conference centre for your next business meeting or conference. All proceeds from tours and conference centre hire go directly to the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital.
